Kinghorn, Gilchrist, McInnally, Lay & McCallum all far more deserving of that.
Main thing, as you say is that he came through seemingly unscathed.

Kinghorn must be in the next Scotland squad.

Just catching up, 5 min left to watch. Some decent performances but it's hard to know what to take from it seeing the kings are so good.

What did Hugh Dan say the Gaelic is for hailstones? Made me smile.
clach-ghainmhich?
Could have been. They were battering down anyway. Jappies must have been at risk of hypothermia.

Probably. Will still be surprised if McInally starts next week.

Scotland could do with Edinburgh winning. Rambo and the second rows could do with a game off.

Stolen from Embra board.

Bennett at 24 is the oldest back by 6 months. Forwards are relatively young too; Sutherland is 23, Rambo 27, McCallum 21, Toolis 25, Gilcho 27, Watson 26, Bradbury 22, Mata 26

Exciting potential in that team.

Good article, but they’re saying on the bbc that Lay will not be registered for this game. I am hoping for uncontested scrums!

Is this game on telly or the internet anywhere? Or is there another media blackout?

Came from behind a couple of times. Gutsy win for a young team.

Now for the love of the national team rest a few lads next week.

Great result!

Hard to see Edinburgh getting anything next week as they'll be even more depleted but even a point would be enough for a home QF you'd think. Depending on the results today...

No Sutherland, McInally, Toolis, Watson and possibly Gilchrist & McCallum from an already depleted pack...

They've already secured a home QF so theres no reason for them to kick the arse out of it.

Weird game, Embra seemed to have the bulk of possession in the first half, but played it all of it in their own half. Nothing really happened in the first half at all, then the second half all sorts of weird shit happened. The try’s conceded looked like we were being way too passive in defence.

Watson’s try was an opportunist rob on a Stade lineout on the 10 meter line, had the pace to finish it, and our last try to win it was comedic. Has penas advantage inside the 5 yard line with about a minute left on the clock, Stade seemed to go to sleep when the ref stuck his arm out, crap chip kick into the try area. It bounced and we just dotted it down surrounded by Stade players. Just weird.

I’ll take it though.

Is there a way of guaranteeing a home SF after winning the QF, or, in order to secure neutrality, is it drawn out a tall green hat with a black trim and gold buckle on it?

EPCR reward away winners in the quarters. If you are ranked 1 to 4 and all 4 home sides win their respective quarters, then the sides ranked 1 and 2 will get home semis.

However any away sides that win a quarter will receive a higher ranking than home sides. So if the side ranked 1 wins their quarter and the side ranked 5 wins their (away) quarter' ranking 5 gets a home semi. If both away sides win then it goes back to highest ranking.

So no guarantee but most probable bet is to be ranked 1 or 2.
