Re: 1872 Cup Runners Up
Im starting to feel vagley positive about Edinburgh under Cockerill
Reckon they could go all the way in the challenge cup and if they can win a couple of big games at home then they could pip Ulster to the 3rd spot

Going to be tough. They have played most of their "easy" games.whatisthejava wrote:Im starting to feel vagley positive about Edinburgh under Cockerill

They are definitely trending upwards which is great to see.

Re: 1872 Cup Runners Up
From opta stats. Obviously they are not against the "big teams" but still good to see.
"In the Challenge Cup, Chris Dean leads the way in clean breaks with ten, joint with Gloucester’s Henry Purdy, with Blair Kinghorn just one behind.
Dean is also second, behind Newcastle Falcons’ Adam Radwan, on defenders beaten in the Challenge Cup with 23 opponents passed.
Edinburgh, already through to the quarter-finals, dominate the defenders beaten charts with Blair Kinghorn and Damien Hoyland joint third with 12"

Yeah. Bradbury's expression of “I probably could have made a more effective tackle than SHC, but oh well” was not particularly impressive.

No Kinghorn. Interesting.
Good to see Sutherland back after limping off last week.

Looks like McInally, Toolis and Watson are nailed on for the Welsh game - as you would expect. Longhorn could be on bench.

King Blairhorn might just be given a rest.
It was his 21st during the week after all

Toolis is brilliant and looks like the long term partner to JG at the moment but given the front row issues I think I'd prefer RG unless he's way off the pace. We will see.ARM wrote:Looks like McInally, Toolis and Watson are nailed on for the Welsh game - as you would expect. Longhorn could be on bench.

Reid Rambo and Welsh is a solid front row. We are making excuses for ourselves if we say otherwise IMO.hugh_woatmeigh wrote:Toolis is brilliant and looks like the long term partner to JG at the moment but given the front row issues I think I'd prefer RG unless he's way off the pace. The bench is clearly weaker and if Gray is a better scrummager, him off the bench is fine.
Toolis has been great for Scotland, is good in the loose and the set piece and deserves to start imo.

There's no team better at going to sleep than Edinburgh.

Are Edinburgh even here? Fowles or Graham should be covering kicks like that.

I hope Cockerills plan was to put SF to sleep.
Fowles has been playing a very slow game. So slow, it looks planned.

Pitch is a potatoe patch.

Fowles is utter pony.
Actually he is as shite as this pitch. I'm pretty sure the teams looked for dog shit before they played.
