Yup doesn't miss many. Sometimes people need to stop looking for reasons not to pick someone when there are so many reasons to pick them.

Great achievement. Should have been 6/6 but for this team are slowly rounding into a proper rugby team.

Good few young lads involved too which is excellent. Ritchie, Crosbie, Dean, VdW, VdM, Graham and Kinghorn all 24 or under

Best part is that it's a Scottish side, when it really matters, pulling out a result. Doesn't happen often enough and yet when Edinburgh have had pressure put on them the last 2 week's they've performed well enough and importantly won.

Hardie is in the squad presumably as back up 7.
I stand by my original comment. I'd sooner shift Ritchie there than play Hardie. We've been down this road, his body isn't up to the rigours of top level rugby. It's an experiment that has failed numerous times.
Short term measure until he breaks is fine by me rather than find more ways to play Wilson.

They never get the credit but Nick Lumley and staff have done a great S+C job on thay squad. They've looked fit and strong the last two weeks.

Coaching staff working well as a whole unit.

So Munster at home in March. We're obviously better than we were for the semi-final last season, bit so are Munster I reckon. Not impossible, but they go in as favourites I reckon.

Great chance to progress. Who would you rather have had, realistically besides Glasgow? Maybe Ulster...

I can’t actually view it but maybe some of you are interested in this. This guy’s analysis is usually very good.

Looks like Roddy Grant could be off to Ulster at the end of the season.

Steven Lawrie looking like a possible replacement.

In what capacity? What is he now? Seemed very much an Edinburgh man, maybe this is the only way to get a step up?

That's disappointing. Embra have a nice wee coaching set up at the minute.

Forwards coach.

Thinking longer term it will get Grant more experience before returning as head coach in 7-8 years time after RC's glorious reign of domestic and euro success :).

Hopefully also gets another young Scottish coach into the professional set up to learn from RC. He is young, has experience of pro rugby and one of our crop of highly qualified (in terms of obtaining UKCC 4) coaches so there are things to be positive about.

Seeing as Richie Gray may be done with Montpellier this season it may be worth a chat with him about breakdown work too.

Trying to find the positives :-)

Although it is good to see RC willing to dip into the prem for a coach. If it's true of course.

Shame but with Sutherland coming back and Schoeman first choice it probably makes sense to spread the budget around the squad. Dell would be due a decent bump from the last contract he signed.
According to Jim Hamilton, Dell was on the verge of signing for Glasgow before London Irish offered to double his money.

I think that would have been a very sideways move. Weaker pack than Edinburgh, and still back up LHP.

Marfo only now fit again or has he just been behind Dell and Schoeman?

QUARTER-FINAL SAT 30TH MARCH

Edinburgh Munster 12:45
Saracens Glasgow Warriors 15:15

Not sure about those timings. Quite fancied going through if it was a bit later in the day. Not sure if I can handle midday drinking.
