For reference, both Paddy Power and Betfair have live odds as 7/1 (8.00) for Brexit, 1/12 (1.08) fro Remain.

I was under the impression that they are supposed to make that obvious, ie. wear a rosette or something. Could be wrong as its been years since I was polled.

It is true though (not necessarily the physco-racist part), but I have not seen one Remain sign or poster down these parts, but plenty of Leave.

We'll find out tomorrow I guess but I wouldn't bet against Brexit having a higher share than predicted because it seems to be declared as something to be ashamed of in some quarters; a bit like voting Tory in the last election - people won't admit to it in an opinion poll.
I'm not really blaming either side for that, Brexit left themselves open to it.

I would believe the bookies ahead of the pollsters.

There have been considerably more leave posters around this area (Staffs and Cheshire) than remain that I've seen. And the sun has been shining here all day so no excuse not to vote.

NZ news is reporting that counting so far is neck and neck between the South-east and Scotland for Remain, and the North and Wales for Leave, with NI split. That would actually be a good split for a Lions trial rugby match. Anyone care to name some XVs?

Wow. BBC are calling it for Leave 52%-48%. The pound, predictably, has plummeted.

Scotland voted Remain by 62%-38%, so that will be interesting.

I didn't think it would happen, but there we go. The groundswell of public discontent was always there but I did wonder if people would take the plunge or not. The really interesting thing about all this is the political convergence. Brexit was popular in labour heartlands as well as Tory safe seats. No surprise that Scotland voted to remain, but Wales!

There are some very sour looking politicians on tv at the moment.
