Dell is an interesting one, I assume he has out performed Reid in training and I am not sure VC is a big fan of his. May also be indicative of a game plan to move the ball around. It is a mobile pack.
Price on the bench is a positive experiment. May offer a change of pace. Time will tell.
Since when did Reid become an immobile prop?

Don't think I said he was immobile? Both Dell and Reid are pretty mobile for props. Dell is the more mobile option IMO.

No, but I've seen the suggestion a few times recently that you don't pick him if you want good loose play.

I think he's decent in the loose* and I would have picked him on Saturday. But Dell being in my mind more mobile doesn't down grade my Reids loose play.
It's surely the only possible reason VC is starting Dell. Because it's not for his set piece. Although VC appears not to like Reid as he's now effectively 4th choice.
*although I have said I think Dickinson is better everywhere than Reid and sometimes I feel Reid is a bit of a flat track bully in his play and yet to show his club stuff at international level.

I remember when all Dickinson offered was mobility.
I have that same reservation about Reid, but I like his brash style. Seems to suit the bench for now.

Might bring the tea for the subs bench a bit faster, as long as Laidlaw's pointing finger and right boot are still functioning I doubt he'll be leaving the field.

Gutted he's picked Dell. Principally because I wanted to call it before Cotter did then got distracted and couldn't be bothered posting. I think he'll do well.
Glad to see Price on the bench but don't think he'll get on unless we're out the game with ten to go.
Goes without saying, but I hope our own ball line-out functions with a few lads just starting out.
Edit - I watch the Stormers and WP a fair bit. Huw Jones is a real find. Faster than Naiyarovouro after an ice cream truck.
