He played on after that, I think he picked up an ankle issue subsequently and was stretchered off.

Of course he did, I’d forgotten that he carried on.

Possibly harsh on Clarke, given the injury list. And the bigger squads in Ireland can cope with a RWC more easily.

I think Clarke has been poor since he started, the Ospreys have gone backwards when with the resources they have they should be the strongest region in Wales.

Fail speculation on the new coach is limited to previous coaches or a former player. Whilst tis tempting to scoff, they are probably right in that a big coach may not be interested in the Ospreys unless there is some significant investment.

I don't think they need any investment at all, they have a large base of talented players, fair enough they've been unlucky with injuries and Internationals being missing but they have the makings of an excellent team, any club coach would be interested I would think.

Yeah, it's strange how they don't seem to see the role as more important, Dai Young would be a good shout imo if he could be tempted away from Wasps.

Truly bizarre. On the one hand it looks like Evans has gone full Bruce Lee and booted Thomas athletically in mid air. On the other hand he is jumping for the ball and the other player runs into his foot as he fights for balance.
