17-14 to Wales at the break.
This game is truly weird. Really aimless for long periods and the refs interpretation is ‘odd’.

Quirky ref. I think the better side are losing, and I was happier at 17-6 ! Would have taken any half time lead if offered it beforehand though

Both our try’s look dubious. The first one especially.
And the commentators are now accusing the ref of cheating.

WTF Guscott? "If you cant get an English player off the field you may as well get an extra one on your side with the refferee"

Were not used to being in front at halftime. Hopefully it doesn’t confuse us too much.Wallpaperman wrote:Quirky ref. I think the better side are losing, and I was happier at 17-6 ! Would have taken any half time lead if offered it beforehand though

Re: England - the third round
Wales have won both previous second halves convincingly ! Good last 10 minutes of the first half for England, sparked by a daft penalty against Wyn Jones for being in front of the ballSandydragon wrote:Were not used to being in front at halftime. It was said half tongue in cheek and eveyone laughed after but after their little tantrum about Wales scoring its a bit patheticSandydragon wrote:Yeah. He might regret that comment.Ross. I've always liked Guscott, hes alright and usually favours the attacking side over his national bias but that comment really should have stayed in his head.Wallpaperman wrote:It was a bit low but Guscott and Johnson are okRoss.
