That was a brilliant performance.
Both to get back in the game when they were behind and find a way to keep the pressure right on for the second half. Lots of talent and experience in that French team and we managed to not let them settle.
Very much won up front.
been strong there all tournie....the backs have been the concern tbh

Sell-out in a great looking stad.
Some result after trailing 21-5 against a more experienced team on their turf - Eng look a tight knit group with no little talent.
Cham-pee-onies now to boot. - good work.
Will be interesting to see what the seniors do with Pollock.

Fourth time we’ve given away serious weight in the pack and shown technique to be the key! All well and good France picking monsters but if the concede ground in defence through the guts then it shows size ain’t all that! Tuilagi might be a beast but he tackles like a small child a lot of the time! We dominated their front line defence time and again!
Massive resilience and then turned them around! Man shamed them on our maul!!
Top, top stuff!!

Enjoyed that.
The French looked scarily good at times but credit to our lads for sticking at it and coming through impressively.
Back row were excellent i thought. Still dont think we're doing much in our back play but there's no doubting that this group have come together very well.
Interesting to see if they can develop at the JWC.

What a result! Splendid example for the seniors to follow.
Kpoku was my MoM. Splendid in the loose and set piece, he stopped much bigger guys in their tracks time after time. It's ironical that he plays in Fance.
Archie and Pollock were outstanding too.
It was an absolutre delight to watch such a high standard game with so little kicking. What there was was quality from both sides. The balance of running, handling and kicking was ideal. There are bound to be mistakes at this level but who cares

Particularly impressive when you consider that quite a lot of the better players are eligible for this level again next year.

Or spelling it right.
He has overall responsibility for the u20s in his brief and has objectives around their player dev plans.

I think that’s a Wiggler special set move given F. Jones’s response.

Underhill with one tackle in the stat sheet which turned France front foot ball into into not front foot ball.

What do we think to this years batch then? It’s hard to find someone who doesn’t have the potential to make it to test level. It’s a stellar crop- can only imagine what they would be doing if Fin Smith was a few years younger. Would it be fair to say they split into the groups below?
Potential stars:
Pollock
Kpoku
Carnduff
AOF
Renshaw
McFarland
Level slightly below but still huge potential:
Sodeke
Fasagbon (waiting to see how he does after injury)
Sela
Michelow
Kerr
Cousins
Wils
Jones
Wright (darts look very hit and miss currently)

They are missing a quality 10. Would make a big difference. All the forwards look very promising. I think there's some quality in the backs but its been a bit hit and miss. Wings have been under employed.
The JWC will tell us a bit more about them.
Quite a few will still be eligible next season.

Agreed. I’m very disappointed that you missed my apeing of Dors with his Fancey spelling.
