Fucking disgraceful performance. I'd make the whole lot of them run back to Edinburgh. Maybe stop off and fucking learn to tackle on the way.
Yeah, must be horrible to support the biggest, richest rugby union in the world with the deepest pool of players. Decades of consistent success must be hard to take.Mellsblue wrote:Not counting my chickens before they hatch but I do feel for you. Imagine this feeling at a home World Cup.
It's awful. I wouldn't wish it on anyone other than the Welsh. I went to Eng v Uruguay after we were knocked out. It was so bad I just didn't give a shit - I didn't cheer a single try and left 15 mins early.switchskier wrote:Yeah, must be horrible to support the biggest, richest rugby union in the world with the deepest pool of players. Nah, just kidding. The sentiment is appreciated, even if it feels horrible at the minute.
Well at the very least we can agree about the Welsh.Mellsblue wrote:It's awful. I wouldn't wish it on anyone other than the Welsh. I went to Eng v Uruguay after we were knocked out. That looked like a planned loop to me, could have been wrong.Big D wrote:It was actually a hospital pass by Finn to richie. RG did pretty well.

Yeah, that's a valid point about the breakdown, we seemed to have not backup plan for that, and kept smashing our heads off that penalty brick wall for the whole game.Eugene Wrayburn wrote:Massively disappointing result. Not as awful a performance as some of you seem to think - England were way better than so far this 6N and perhaps anything we've seen from them under Jones before - but disappointing nonetheless. You need to find a way of playing when the referee neuters the breakdown turnover as a source of ball for you.
No it really was. We just get beaten up by bigger, more physical teams and if we can't compete at the breakdown we're in trouble. Competing requires not having to retreat 10 metres first.Eugene Wrayburn wrote:Massively disappointing result. Oh, I wasn't having a dig at them, the holes were punched right through our midfield.Big D wrote:Meatball and Price gave it their best shot but the defence from 10, 12 and 13 was... well undefendable.
