So we're still as wasteful as ever.

So our forwards are still appalling in open play...can’t get over the gain line. Maul offence and scrum have gone to sht.

Still Russell and Johnson have worked well together.

I don't think the maul is that bad but you don't need to try setting them up every 4 seconds from open play or the halfway line.

It's absolutely shocking we only have only got 12 points on the board - reverse the possession and territory in the second half and we're staring down the barrel of a loss. We never seem to be able to make this dominance count.

Was about to type that, given the early change, Wilson has played ok. Then he did that 5 metres out!

You tell him Grieg! Am glad he’s mentioned the Italians playing our men off the ball - they’ve been at it all day. If we get another offensive 5 metre line-out, they’re just targeting McInally before he even gets the ball.

Welp. Lucky that didn't result in a closer look...

Ref is really poor. That pass to turncoat Tam to clear was definitely forward.

What a beautiful line from Seymour. Please don't screw it up...

Uhh... Did Hogg actually touch that? Linesman is absolutely ADAMANT.

I'd be raging if that was given against us without a TMO look.

Ok fair play to the linesman - that's legit.

Shout out to Tommy for not giving a dumbass offload like his compatriots when it clearly wasn't on, did another roll ready to recycle and popped it when it WAS on. H Jones take note...

Ritchie has been fairly poor by his own high standards today. Naive to let the italian 9 have a huge gap & has fallen off two tackles already.

Now we’re talking. Getting over the gain line = quick ball. Well played Ritchie and Kinghorn

Be quite funny if Toony denies Graham his cap today.

Is this ref for real? Our first significant infringement in the red zone and we're carded?

Sorry that's never obstruction. The guy pushes Price flying to make a point and milk it. Poor ref.

It was a prop or a hooker - he was never touching Hogg.

Sloppy finish but you have to give some credit to Italy.

What the actual f*ck. Someone better give them a bollocking after the whistle. Completely fallen apart.

Sloppy but a bit out that has shown promise and a lot to work on. As am immediate post mortem I'll take that.

BP win job done but we really were not very good over 80 minutes. Any other team besides perhaps France would have likely beaten us today.

This. I was actually a little disappointed when it was looking like finishing 33-3 after their amount of possession. Ireland will be all over them defending like that.

Hard to put the finger on that last 10 minutes, tiredness or complacency? Laidlaw was off by that time, and lots of first caps, etc.
I thought Strauss was excellent. Graham looked a bit slow - even with fresh legs.
