Wibble Rugby youtube channel, who doesn't put out a lot of videos, has just put an almost hour long video out about Sleazy Bunions's 'masterplan' (if you will) for England. I don't it necessarily says anything we couldn't guess - but it is pretty entertaining and a very thorough analysis from WB as usual.

If nothing else - it's nice to watch some intelligent rugby analysis.

Having the hard hitting Goliath front and centre would lead you to think that

Nah I'd have had Big Dan Cole's shiny head front and centre.

Does 'weight of the shirt' equate to lack of faith in the game plan?

In Shallow Burials mind it means anything but that

For all SB’s presumed shortcomings I think we can all agree Lawrence at 12 is a bang on call

You won't find that is unanimous. I'd have picked the same back line apart from switching 10 and 22 around.

It's a terrible call and the one area where I absolutely disagree with his selections. Lawrence is not a natural 12 by any stretch of the imagination and he's certainly not the kind of 12 we want him to be - hard running into traffic and making dents in defensive lines.

12 exposes his weaknesses, and hides his strengths. He's just a good enough rugby player to make a reasonable fist of it. At 12, he's a placeholder waiting for a more natural 12 (or enough game time that his game changes to better suit IC)

I think Lawrence is likely to get closed out of the 13 shirt by Freeman, longer-term. He either makes it at 12 or dips out. I think he can make an effective job of it and the partnership could be damned useful ultimately. Slade is a useful stop-gap. It's a shame Marcus is not there inside him.

Fair enough. With Dan adding a startling and decisive cameo off the bench.

Do we think Marcus will come off the bench to replace Ford or Furbank?

A little bit of width, a little bit more space between tacklers...

Boom! Lawrence! Awesome stuff! Freeman mullering the winger hitting him hard was awesome to see.
