Notice that Spencer and Batson come in from the summers U18s so thats quite an endorsement. Thought Batson looked pretty good.
George Marsh the number 8 as well. Just 18 and already 6ft4 and comfortably north of 17 stone. He's in the Tigers side to play in the PRC tomorrow night (albeit from the bench). Very highly rated at the club.

My first thought after seeing the backs selected was: please can Sorrell use one match (Scotland in the 6N?) to put out the tallest average backline in England u20 history.

4 - Aiden Ainsworth-Cave. By far the most experienced lock. Quite lightweight, but will probably get the starting spot at 4.
He played for Bedford in the last game of last season at blindside… may be a hint at a possible change of position or look at being more versatile.

When I saw him play last season he was quite lightweight, can't say I was impressed. He'll need to add some weight and physicality to play lock at senior level, not surprised Bedford used him at 6. Unless England change how the forwards form as part of the attack I can't see him really working well in the setup.

Yeah he's played a bit of six this last season. He's definitely got something about him, just could do with a bit more bulk. But then it was only his first season out of school.
