Darcy graham is as good attacking as he is bad at knowing where a full back stands.

FT 17-10. Not the best advert for the sport.

He wasn't. Backline was Bradbury(anonymous) Richie, du Present and Mata covered.
Graham came off with a limp

Odd! Could swear I read a report that said he was playing (I knew he wasn’t in the line-up and figured he must have been drafted in). Anyway, well done Enbra on qualification - bring on the Blues at Murrayfield!

Graham looked hugely out of his depth. Should stick to the wing for now. with Bryce as back up 15.

To be fair to the lad it's a new position to him and his only real gametime there have been a couple of pro14 games where he looked ok and a game for Hawick. Not ideal prep.

Scott possibly leaving Gloucs. Worth bringing him back up the road?
Still only 27.

Tricky. He had his first full season without injury for a long time (it feels like) last year and was great, but has only managed about 10 minutes that I've seen this season.
Edinburgh have Bennet, Johnstone and Dean but maybe they're all better at 13 anyway. Really not sure I rate Burleigh.
I'd very happily have had him at Quins based on the previous seasons form. I just don't know if he can stay injury-free for any length of time.

You have to imagine Edinburgh is high up the list of likely destinations. They're not particularly strong at 12.

At the right price I think it's a deal worth looking at.

As a prop in case it needed spelling out... Really sad to see what has happened to him. Considering the crisis Edinburgh have at prop and the amount they'll lose in the 6N this just shows how little he is rated.
I suspected he would be kept on and used as hooker cover during the 6N. He's still 29 - he should look at making the move back. He can get a good few years out of his career at club level.

Do they have injury issues? Him and Carmichael need games so any move that will get them that is good

Have seen the following rumours elsewhere:
Hamilton to Edinburgh (may mean CdP leaving).
Cockerill is trying to hijack the Socino to bath move.

Look like Edinburgh are down to having to play Mata in the 2nd row on Friday. CHH injured apparently.
This is good news though:
Mark Palmer
@MarkPalmerST
Speaking to a number of Scotland players, they've been impressed by how Alasdair Dickinson has shown up in training. Has only played four times for Edinburgh since injuring himself in Japan in 2016, but 34-year-old could yet have a say with club and country in the coming months.

Walked past WP Nel at the Tesco’s at Roseburn today. In his kit. Looked like the big lad couldn’t wait to get home for his post training feed as he shovelled some food down.
Tune in for tomorrow’s exciting edition when I recount sitting next to big Dave Denton at the barbers (as if I’ve been in there in years)

Which arm did he carry the basket on...? This is important stuff.

New Edinburgh stadium mooted...
https://www.scotsman.com/sport/more-in- ... -1-4684730
I’d like to see it done. Also, in an ideal world, I’d like to see them redevelop Murrayfield a wee bit and get shot of the running track. Could add depth to the concourses in the West/ north/ east (like Barcelona are doing) and add more facilities like bars/ shops/ cafés, etc. Could then bring in and build up the east stand a bit and add some corporate shizzle at the back to fleece solicitors and accountants. Maybe even suspend the screens from the new ceilings at either end and put safe standing where they currently are. I won’t charge for the drawings.
Anyway, hope they do manage to get a new wee stadium (and a hotel/ museum) on site.

7k capacity is already too short sighted.
Obviously it depends on consistent success and engagement with the city but I think Edinburgh can get consistently above 7k. It will take time though - it's been season after season of under-performance and mediocrity. A good finish this year should see a significant increase on their crowds next season.

I’d imagine that if they build a 7k stadium, there will still be plenty room to add more in future years if needs be.
