It's the sort of thing you'd only normally see with a player in the bin, but 2 15s covering from 15m in releasing the other winger and the 9 to other duties might be worth a look, especially when North isn't exactly stellar at depth coverage anyway, and that Halfpenny especially is brilliant at depth coverage. I'm not sure Williams and Halfpenny would love the idea as it's a lot more running, but they could make it work, maybe

Some good bits to look at if you have time .
Good stuff from Foxy , talking about players going back to type i.e old style.

Of course it is a vicious circle ..the more you are under pressure the more players go to type... so some playing old style others new style.. recipe for disaster and chaos sounds like last Saturday.
The coaches need a right royal ass roasting for this it is unnaceptable. They should select players that can execute something that is differant and outside their comfort zone.
They may not be watching the press ... the WRU should be.
All that said .. hats off to Dan Lydiate

He has accepted the challenge of what he has to do ... cant ask more of a player than a willingness to change and improve.
Its hard to change what you have done for years... go take a defensive driving training after 40 plus years of driving..you will get the picture

By 'open, attacking game' does that mean passing to the second receiver before rumbling into contact as opposed to passing to the first receiver and rumbling into contact?
