Certainly at least a question mark over it, rather than the nailed on exception he's been till now.

Anyway, great news for Wales and the Scarlets.

It would be fantastic if he can get his attacking game back. This will give us some idea whether it was Gatball that eroded his attacking game, or his own body.

So he has signed a dual contract. I'm pleased that this situation has been resolved and I think Llanelli is the ideal place for Halfpenny.

There's some lessons that younger pro players can learn about the ups and downs of the pro game.

So he will have to cross the Loughor bridge to training every day from the family seat in Gorseinon. That will be a tad of a change from the South of France.

Back down to earth with a bump. Thing is, a couple of good seasons and a good RWC and the world will be his oyster again, particularly if he does fancy super rugby.
