In reality, it speaks more to how these things were refereed historically generally, and how it has changed in recent years. Not necessarily for the worse.

There was no question about the sbw red, IMO. Will need to see this one again.

I reckon the Wallabies might have taken this anyway without the red. Looking quite useful as they were always likely to by the time of the RWC.

And what has happened to Rieko Ioane? He's been awfully quiet of late.

Wallabies got a little bit of luck - the Koroibete try from close range shouldn't have stood, as he wasn't the back man. But having said that, the Kiwi second try was clearly forward and Garces has had a very funny idea of what constitutes a knock on all game, so it's evened out.

Agreed, as per my previous statement. Pack have had better than parity- possession and territory stats are quite stunning.

I watch zero Premiership rugby. From what I've seen the scrum half at exeter is required to do little more than pass to the next bloke to maintain possession.

They do play in another competition, albeit not usually for very long.

Sound thrashing. Australia were considerably the better team all over. The two tries right after the break pretty much sealed it. Although there was plenty of rugby played after that, the All Blacks inability to hold their line at that point was critical. Well played Oz.

Aye. Interestingly not much attacking pizzazz in these ABs currently which makes me think there might be a bit being held back.

Looking back its a clear red - the shoulder is dropped when he's 2 or 3 yards away the arm was never out

Its become semantic, I agree. The key point is that he was excellent today- and its not something seen in Exeter's colours, so not purely down to pack dominance. It may be that the Oz game plan suits him much more than Chiefs (which does call for more kicking), but also that Oz actually dominated contact; the surprise was for those of us who have seen a lot of White, both for Chiefs and Oz.
