Carre off on 40min. Scrum immediately rock solid.

In the first two scrums Ireland got penalties from Carre. It looked like a strength issue rather than anything technical.

However, Porter was then penalised for clearly pulling Carre down.

I would have pulled Carre off as well.

Last scrum looked steadier.

Also, why are we so slow to the breakdown. Halfpenny was having to get involved!

Faletau has done a lot of work.

We play like a team that has not been coached. It may not matter too much today but we had better get it sorted quick.

Faletau has done more than he did in the whole match against Scotland. Maybe a solid scrum can provide a platform in the second half

It’s hard to reconcile this team to theGS side of 2019.

We need Dee on for Elias and Ball to give us some grunt.

I still not despondent but the Shiraz is getting to me.

Centres are trying hard but not really working together.

It is difficult to decide why we are so slow andf generally crap.

We certainly are not solving problems so far today.

Is it just me or did Wales not actually have hands on the ball at all for that penalty? Seems to becoming a bit of a thing to grab the player and make it seen like they're holding on.

Better from Wales in the second half, but they lost it 16-3, as opposed to 16-6 in the first half.

I suppose we should be grateful that we don't have AIs against South Africa and NZ
