This is the most entertaining match I’ve watched in a long time.

Just watching the last 15... Fantastic 15 mins of rugby and now a penalty with 1 minute left.... ace

Wow, not a dry seat in the French house.

Got to feel sorry for Drouin. She’s been one of the best players on the pitch until that point.

Jesus, poor sod. So much pressure on that kick, her own face staring at her from the big screen behind the posts, crowd willing her to miss, and she just tightened up and shanked it.

For a man with a face for radio, Flats is class.

Yeah, she'll be reliving this one. She also kicked the dropout on the full that let the kiwis first back into the game. One to forget.

She also kicked one punt out on the full - not the best game with the boot. Class with ball in hand and in d, though.

Yup, Drouin and Bourdon both had days to forget with the boot.

I think a disciplined France win that - and well played NZ for spooking them into indiscipline.

Discipline both in terms of penalties, and decision making / execution under pressure.

On to the final - where I'm not going to make any predictions. England ought to have enough, but will NZ put us off our stride? Will the pressure? We'll be angry with ourselves after Canada, but how will we lash back?
Will NZ be emotionally exhausted after that SF? Will they be driven on to further heights? They've improved week on week, and now have another week in which to improve.

Fair assessment, Which. France stick to their strengths and they should win that. Still, that's the beauty of the game

Intriguing weekend ahead next week.

I have yet to see the whole England game. Should England be angry? Did they not play well. From the highlights, the Canuck pack appears to one of the few that can live with the roses.

Watch and find out - and sorry for the spoilers.
I don't think they should be angry, but I am sure that they will be

That was quality. Hard luck France and a shame that there had to be a losing team in that.

NZRFU: take note of what Wayne Smith has been able to do in under 12 months with the Ferns.

That was an absolutely great game of rugby. Real commitment to play at pace from NZ. Thought it had paid off more emphatically and then France came right back into it.

Lots of standout players on both sides but mainly just great to see such a flowing game at some a high pressure stage.
