Lewandowski started at tighthead, with Batikora and Chessum on the bench. I did note that.FKAS wrote: ↑Wed Dec 03, 2025 3:41 pm I think the rugby academy system at Loughborough College is in a fairly infant state but I think they've partnered with Tigers to start it going. They've also got a partnership with the NFL to have their pathway on the campus. As it's literally across the road from Loughborough University there's then in theory a a logical progression from one to the other.
Do you know what side Loughborough College put out?

Ta. Just interested to see if I recognised any of the names, I know of a couple from local rugby clubs that are rated quite highly and didn't know if that's where they were playing. Whilst there is a private school in Loughborough it's not really geared towards top level college sport, so interesting that Loughborough College are going for it.Epaminondas Pules wrote: ↑Wed Dec 03, 2025 3:48 pmLewandowski started at tighthead, with Batikora and Chessum on the bench. To Which's point re the two schools I assume the other one will Brooksby College out near Melton. It's an agricultural college so has plenty of land for pitches and accomodation for students who needed to board. Don't think they really had any real intention of making it a sporting hub so not surprised to see that wound down. Was a useful pathway set up there though, Harrison the current England scrum coach was head coach there for a bit iirc and I think George Martin and some of others around his age did their A levels there. Moving to Loughborough College does make sense as they are having a push to up their sport offering and the transport connections are better (bar Epinal Way which is part of the fecking awful and not for for purpose "ring" road in Loughborough).

Worth noting that Loughborough may be making a restructure and new push, but they're not new to this level. They didn't just get gifted a place in the top tier.
As for the team, squad list is on-screen from 11'57
