He’s a very lucky boy. Any contact and that was a straight and permanent red.

Fucking hell! I could have lived with that 3rd try but the 4th was a right kick in the balls.

There were some good signs in that half but suddenly we're buried

Re: Team news
It looks so easy for them running though tackles. Their fourth try is a real pisser.
At least there are few signs of improvement. One can only hope we can get a few points back.

Why wasn't that maul turnover in the corner before their third try? I thought we help them up plenty long enough.

Re: Team news
Well it was looking alright for us going into half time. Behind by 10 points but aggressive off the ball and scored two good tries.
That last try was a sucker punch though.
For a neutral that must have been a decent first half to watch, both sides wanted to play rugby. Some great touches bu both sides. Argentina seem very capable of turning the screw in our 22 but our tries were well constructed.
We seem to have more adventure in our game plan and are happy to use our back 3. I think Argentina have too much for us but I hope we can claw back another score or 2 and keep this competitive.

Re: Team news
An odd half. Some good signs from Wales but our naivete is showing through. We were right in it, then suddenly we're buried. Argentina's short passing game and overall muscularity is proving to be difficult to cope with. Ben Thomas's temper cost us dearly. Defensively, we're like Swiss cheese, but it's early days in the ongoing arc of Welsh self-immolation. We are four tries to two down with forty to play, but Argentina look a more complete outfit, and I suspect we'll get more of the same. The positives are we are starting to learn how to attack and our set piece is going well. The negatives: just about everything else.

Few unclear ref decisions in that half. Twice it seemed Argentina didn't know if they could go or if had been blown up. Ref had to shout "RUN son!"

Great fight back & try from Wales but Jac's injured. Then Edwards just tap tackled when it looked like was clear. Sometimes you just dont get the rub of the green

Two soft tries we’ve given away which aren’t helping.

Wainwright looks broken as well. Hopefully just a precaution he’s off.

The scrum's looking ominous since the front row changes were made.

Yes, nearly led to another Argentina try on the wing. Its put Wales on the back foot a number of times.

Mann has proven his worth. He's been out best defender. Carried well too.

Defensively Murray worries me. He seems to be targeted by the high ball. He does a lot of good but I wonder if Roger’s is a better full backpompey-zebra wrote: ↑Sun Nov 09, 2025 4:58 pmYes, nearly led to another Argentina try on the wing. Its put Wales on the back foot a number of times.
