That I'm gutted is a positive to me. I did think we'd sneak a win but given what we've seen over the last couple of years this was a proper competitive performance.

I'd feel even more positive if I felt it could be the start of something, instead of probably our only chance of a win gone. If we had Italy next, I'd fancy it, but Ireland will crush these little green shoots completely, after which Italy will be as hard as today, or worse. Obviously the best 50 minutes we've shown by some distance. Last 30 we had nothing, poor performance at home. Should have won that. The quick kick off, Darcy Graham try was a total fucking embarrassment. Professionals?? Jesus.
