Really pleased for Barclay. Being in and aroind the midlands and Caley squads a year a head of him it was clear he was destined for days like this.

That was superb. Spent the first 30 feeling a drubbing was coming and the second half jumping and shouting my arse off. This team now believes, and that's the big difference. Watson should have been motm though, he was quite brilliant.

I would have bet good money at half time that we'd win that. Blown away in the second half. Are Scotland actually for real?

I'm delighted for him and Watson more than anyone else. Two of our best players in that half.

Anyone else think we may have been looking at a very different scoreline if Hardie had managed to not break himself?

Once/if we get the injured props back we'll know one way or the other.

Been waiting 10 years for that. More considered reflection will come but for now...get *kin in there.
Russell can kick goals, Priceis likely to do more than just point & pass usually when least expected. If we can get all 1st choice forwards fit & on the field at the same time...

Gatland not leaving his seat. Andy Irvine having a quiet word & I don't think it was "cheer up Warren"

Fucking fantastic.

Watson MOTM surely.

So pleased for Barclay.

Visser certainly made a comeback from an awful, awful first half.

Terrific all round effort. Watson made a real difference and Barclay was outstanding. Hogg is all class. A word about Fagarson. There's not many young props who could go the distance, putting in such a shift in the loose as he does. This lad is a special talent.

Yep. The work he has done in the loose while generally being under pressure in the scrum is amazing.

Damn, that's been a long time coming. Feels very, very good and to be enjoyed for the next fortnight properly. Watson or Barclay for motm but Russel was very good too and delighted for visser.

Quick mention for Webb who is a mouthy little so and so (actually heard a lot of Welsh on ref mike today) but he was really excellent today.

He certainly had the better of big George North, an overrated player who has built his repution on some spectacuar tries, but still can't defend for peanuts.

Jeez the ease with which Visser got around North was quite shocking.

Brilliant. Players I've been critical of in the past - Wilson, Visser - are really standing up and proving me wrong, for which apologies to those fine gents. Need to keep building but its all looking good.

Yeah hands up re Wilson. He's doing a very fine job. However that miss pass was mental.

We are currently 5th on the "live: world rankings.

They're still doing stupid shit, but making some real contributions too.

One thing that really grabbed me was attacking the rucks yet paying close attention to Lacey. Barclay in particular who can, on a bad day, get on the wrong side of refs in this regard. Really liked him as captain.

A mention for Pyrgos too who I thought was brought on too early but mostly controlled things nicely. Price will develop, he's such a threat with the ball.

France looking ominous in general, developing a good game plan that they're all buying into.

If we string together two halves like the second one today then who knows what could happen at Twicks. Vern will have a tough call about what to do with Visser.
