Which one are you talking about?

Down to 14 Edinburgh finally kept the ball in hand and was their best spell of the match. Could have walked in if they had spread it right earlier though
The Harries card. It wasn't a card IMO. He tried to wrap and was halfway there but as the Munner player was going to ground he was wrapping around his arms, the ball plus his torso... there's only so much circumference you can deal with.

It's a pen if you're being picky.

Christ it's like Edinburgh have regressed to last season.

VDM and Harries have spilled about 7 or 8 balls between them. I think it's Harries more than Duhan.

Can the TMO be used for deciding lineouts now?

Fair enough. I thought it was high, no real problem with wrapping.

Well that was a good win on paper. Few guys need to buck up their ideas though.

Bradbury showed up well in areas he sometimes goes missing. 3 key penalties/turnovers.

He's shite in English. Missed basic things and rules.

Good in hurdy gurdy though.

Shoulder to chin IIRC. Only mitigation was he ducked into it.

Harries had no reason to go that high either.

Aye it was. It's another game they'd have lost last season.

Benetton losing was nice too.

F*ck me. They were awful but it's the W that matters.

Today did highlight how badly Edinburgh need a top class scrum half and a winger who is just a class above what they have already for next season.

Maitland for the latter maybe...? Hard to be optimistic about their 9 options going forward.

On that note is Tom Brown injured or does Cockerill just not like him?

If there is no signing at 9 then Shiel will have the job by next Jan. Heard a lot of good things about him.

I don't think Edinburgh can get away with not signing a senior 9 for next season.

Haven't seen the game but that's a cracking result no matter how bad the performances were. Not many people would have picked us for third at the start of the season and eking out tough wins like this gives us a really good shot.

Beat Connaught away and then ulster and scarlets at home. Ed could finish 2nd.

As suspected by many on here, Dicko may never return to rugby. Not definite but Cockerill does suggest its an option.

https://theoffsideline.com/edinburgh-ru ... on-climax/

While Allan Dell played and scored for Hawick last week and should be seen in Edinburgh colours again soon, and Ross Ford has returned to full training, there is still uncertainty about another front-row forward, Alasdair Dickinson, who has not played since breaking a foot last season and also undergoing shoulder surgery while rehabbing that injury. “He’s had some serious injuries, so we must make sure he’s dead right before he comes back into playing,” Cockerill said of the 34-year-old prop. “It’s hard to say when he’ll be back. He has to prove to himself that he is ready to come back and play and be confident.

“The union and the club are supportive and when he feels comfortable to come back he will. Maybe there will be another decision he needs to make further down the line, but we’re not there yet.

“He’s a very experienced player who has done a lot for Scottish rugby. It’s right we are patient with him so he can make the right choice, whether that is playing again or not playing again. He’s had a lot of serious injuries and he’s still a young man, so it has to be right for him.”

Burleigh on bench makes no sense. Edinburgh really need better options at wing.

I thought DvdM and Fife were two of the few positives of the Munner game.
