Retaining Seymour over Jones is looking like a mistake at the moment. Looking very creaky on that side of the pitch in both attack and defence.

I think Aussie would have scored anyway as the scorer was a big lad but McGuigan didn't need to commit to the tackle on Foley, Maitland had him down.

We look ambitious going forward but bad at the basics. Our scramble defence is up there with the best in the world but we still fall off too many first up tackles.

Think the second receiver at 12 is working well today. Price has options on both sides at ruck time.

Some other thoughts - the Berghan experiment has got to stop. Jon Welsh is twice the player Berghan is. It concerns me greatly that both Cotter and now Toony seem to think he can hack it at this level. With Nel out Rae or Welsh are our best scrummaging tightheads. I'm worried you'll end up with another Blair Cowan where we've wasted a bunch of valuable caps on someone who was never good enough. As opposed to developing Rae or getting Welsh some more experience.

Also McInnally is fucking explosive with the ball in hand. He's been superb all autumn. I know he's a hooker but it's well worth getting a man on his shoulder when he makes a run, the amount of half breaks he makes is ridiculous.

Agreed with most of that. Wish we would clear the front row out of our midfield. Not a game goes by that we don’t see someone in a 1 or 3 shirt cough up a stinker of a knock on standing in the center of the park. Grinds my fucking gears.
