Apparently ours is tomorrow.

My predictions:

Gilchrist will start, Rae will cover TH and Wilson to be benched.

That wouldn't surprise me at all. I'd prefer Toolis but the coaches have a tough choice.

Some big carriers in the back row but I'm not that phased. Halfpenny will punish us with the boot anywhere inside our own half but he really is crap otherwise. If Hogg breaks the line Halfpenny won't get anywhere near him. He'll struggle to beat our backs to some nicely placed grubbers/chips as well.

Great news that Gatland has ignored Wales' best flanker. Not even in the 23. It's bad news for us if Navidi and Moriarty make big in roads with their carries though.

It's hard to figure out how that battle will play out. If Barclay, Wilson (if starting) and Watson are on song it's hard to see how Wales will get much clean ball.

There have been some good articles put up recently on the 1014 site - http://the1014.com/category/analysis/

So far they've looked at some details on the England and Ireland attack, and I think there might be some more on Ireland to follow, but then they're moving on to some analysis of Scotland which might be of more interest. One area they're going to be looking at is the Scottish kicking game (albeit under Vern) from the back three and how Scotland use that to try and score tries.

I assume once they've done Scotland they'll more onto Wales, though for the Welsh that might as well read if you don't score off 1st phase give up based on the last few years.

Discovered their YouTube channel Yesterday. I quite liked it. Wales do seem to be first phase scorers.

That Welsh team is one to be respected, especially at home but not one to be feared.

Home crowd, no silly yellow cards or dubious tackles as the welsh crowd are well used to swaying the ref on anything

I actually think wales will play pretty well, shingler is a dick at the breakdown but I think the non Scarletts will struggle and slow the team down which will take away from them.

I think a fiver on Adams and Evans to score is money in the bank.

Wales do assure they're bringing something different in their attack this season, they do need to, and they have got plenty of quality players so they're not to be taken lightly. It's only their attack for a good number of seasons, since 2005 I suppose, has been poor

Both naff now despite what the media might say. If we can keep the ball alive and in play AWJ will be blowing out his arse after 30 mins. I've already voiced my thoughts on Halfpenny. It's a real shame actually - Gatland turned him into this player. He was such a wonderful attacker when he first broke though.

Murmurs of a curveball selection at 12 (the position) today...

What would constitute a curve ball? Any one of Dunbar, Taylor or Horne would be seen as normal to me.

Unless it is something utterly mental that sees Russell at 12.

What time is the team named today? I have a lunch break to arrange.

If he does pick Harris, then so be it. He’s the coach and it’s his call. Didn’t think he was much cop v Samoa, but neither were a few others. If it happens, it’s probably because Dunbar is injured, so he has his chance again. Bennett maybe on bench then.

Longhorn at 12? I kind of like the idea for some reason.
