England look like 90's Wales. Trust me, I lived through that. Every given 5-minute spell, the other team doesn't look THAT much better. But every scoring opportunity is butchered. Every 50-50 goes against. And before you know it, the scoreboard is ugly. Then a flattering comeback late to give false hope.
Mind you. I'd take 90's Wales over 2026 Wales.

Jebus.. that was pretty clearly a shoulder charge by Ireland. At least they've been given a yellow for something else and we've scored.

Brousset's the only person having a worse game than Genge did. Allowing Ireland to fuck about for 2 minutes of the yellow and then give them a nonsense penalty.

More like the Pollock yellow (he was actually reffing the game for that one) so yeah consistent. Ireland have messed about close to their line a few times, given up pens and got away with it so was nice to see them get a card there.
Messing around in our own half lets Ireland run down the clock on the sin bin and have an easy kick at goal. I get keeping their defence honest but they are also missing their fullback so kicking to compete a bit.

We have a chance if we keep the pace up and keep the ball.

Breakdowns remain poor. They are so much better at deciding when to commit

I've given up. The referee's having a nightmare, but we're just giving him the opportunities to ping us and then glowering at him for not being consistent, instead of playing the fucking game.
Absolute disaster of a match and I couldn't be more furious.

Good lord no. He's run straight into multiple forwards several times already and got away with it because he's out in the wing. At 10 it would be far worse. Just as I type that he runs straight into two defenders and gets turned over, idiot. Use your pace, run sideways and buy time to either kick it clear or get support.
