Overall apart from the 2 soft tries ed are playing pretty well and the chances will come, Barnes does feel a little reticent to penalize the Montpellier team.

Need to score first here. Even those 3 points would have been nice.

The try machine coming on at half time may help, but I do hope McInally isn’t properly injured.

Ffs. Feels like that could have been the turning point.

Tap tackle saves 2 points, but that’s better.

That must be a penalty for hands in the ruck?

The disallowed Edinburgh try on 69 mins is exactly why I have been going off rugby more and more over the years.

Whatever Barnes thought he saw was clearly not 100%.

Berghan was in FRONT of Bradbury, he received the ball BEFORE Bradbury. The tackler has a clear path to Berghan and commits to him, Bradbury wrestles the ball out of Berghan's hands and scores.

In what universe is that blocking unless Bradbury has the ball first? There are a lot of ways it can look like that but not 100%. So why would you not go to the TMO?

It's crap calls like that that affect the outcome of a game and probably in Edinburgh's case their HC campaign.

It just makes me question Barnes' credibility as well.

Er, are you allowed to spoon it back with your hands off the floor nowadays?

FFS. Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Second half much better.

It was there for them, though.

Hell of a tackle by Dean at the end.

Embra should have won that. Great effort second half just needing a little more composure - a finisher like Vdm would have made a difference.

Love Bill Mata. Embra pack stood up well as a collective.
Just a bit lacking behind the scrum. Matt Scott ain’t Test quality as a second five - weak distribution.

I'd have bitten your hand off for a lbp. That's hard to take.

Jaco v.d. Walt starts. I think this is the right decision. Hickey was good enough last week, but Jack was better when he came on.

Otherwise as you were for the first 15. Fair enough.

Big game this. With Toloun and Newcastle in poor form there's an opportunity but they need to bring home at least four points
