What a brilliant performance. They had a really bad patch where they lost control for a few mins but weathered it really well. A few beers deserved tonight.

Bradbury's arm did not look in a good way. Hope it isn't serious and the sling was just to keep an ice pack in place...

Cockere may enjoy a whinge at the ref but he is good copy when winning

“He’s a good player, but he’s allowed to play well in this team because there’s a good balance in that back row and there are lots of guys making tackles and cleaning rucks that he doesn’t do. Which is fine, because he has a point of difference. We’ve worked really hard to get him fit and he loves playing here.

Just watched the match back this morning - obviously a lot of positives. Pyrgos was good as well - the move looks like it is working.

Would be great if they could follow it up with a win v Falcons next up. I think they will.

I only really know the centre of Edinburgh - would it be an idea, one day, to build a new stadium (and hotel) out near Edinburgh gateway? Am just thinking of the price of land, transport links (tram/ parking) and the rest of it. Hotel there could be a nice little earner.

I'm not really keen on out of town stadiums. The more people that can walk there the better and the more pubs etc. around the more likely people are to go. Mini murrayfield sounds decent to me.

Would cost a huge sum of money to buy land out there.

Not sure of any implications of being that close to the airport either.

Team is out for Zebre game. That is probably the most callow second row I've ever seen. On the other hand the backs look pretty good.

Probably a good one to miss, though these games are ones where we really needed to guarantee three points.

Edinburgh: Fife; Graham, Johnstone, Dean, Van der Merwe; Hickey, Pyrgos (capt); Schoeman, Ford, Berghan, Hodgson, Hunter-Hill, Hamilton, Crosbie, Mata.

Replacements: Cherry, Sutherland, Ceccarelli; Atkinson; Mason; Kennedy, Baggott; Socino

I think I havent seen the second rows play before, not sure.... The front row is mighty meaty though and could supplement them?

CHH has a handful of pro games. The others are academy lads.

I think that team should still be confident of getting a result. Will be very important for confidence for the rest of the season that they do

Still a handy side. Backs decent, front row strong, back row strong. Crosbie will play for Scotland in the future.
