Embarrassing tbh. Fair play to Ireland, smarter and harder into contact.

Gosh I hope not. He's young, I hope he has many caps ahead of him.

Absolutely. Right now, we cannot feel confident of beating Italy in Rome.

We looked good in the Autumn. What the hell has happened in the last two weeks?

Same as last week, we just look kinda sluggish. It's a worry that we can't get into the right headspace for big games.

Bit of a massacre really. England need to have a huge rethink week off.

Destroyed at the breakdown. Again, choosing when to compete brilliantly. Same as last week.

Is it hyperbole to start calling for Borthwick and Wigglesworth’s head? Two weeks in a row we’ve been utterly dismantled in embarrassing fashion by teams we should be beating, or at least coming close to beating.

Yep. It would’ve been embarrassing even if we didn’t have three 7s on the pitch…

There is no excuse for a team not looking switched on at KO.

Our tackling has been pretty weak, alongside our very average defensive shape and decisions.

Lot to fix.

Speaking of which he wins the high ball and nobody is there to prevent Ireland mixing the ball again!

To me though, the issue is about quality, attitude, basics under pressure and approach rather than individuals. We can argue the toss over say 5 positions but it’s more fundamental imo.

I don’t even know where to start. Awful from pretty much start to finish.

I just can’t understand how we’ve gone from looking good in November to looking rank bad in February.

Big question mark over Borthwick right now.
