Blair was decent. Pyrgos hesitant and slow on the couple of occassions the treviso defence broke up, miller not an 8, nobody hitting the ball at pace so nobody getting over gain line, no leadership, no hope and Clancy.... dire.

Hopefully Leinster rest a lot of players now they're qualified.

Nel taken off at half time don't know why, scrum was on top before hand. Watson was watsoning.

Pyrgos signs on for another two years. Good to hear, hopefully he's pushed by Shiels next season.

Rumour from the times that Bhatti is on the way to Edinburgh. Makes sense to me as Allan looks second choice in Glasgow and he's got a chance of competing with Sutherland for that role in Edinburgh. Don't know where that leaves Marfo though.

Sutherland when fit is ahead of Bhatti and Allan. A very sideways move unless there is something more sinister with Sutherlands health.

Kinghorn out for the rest of the season after ankle surgery. Huge blow for our attacking game, especially with the QF on the horizon.

Why are we signing nic groom for next season? Pyrgos has done a job this season and Shiels is meant to be very highly rated. Would rather we had another young gun competing rather than an import who was rubbish at Northampton blocking the way.

Also seems relevant - https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/76eb ... 64c665210d

"I’ve had pretty much another full pre-season; I’ve actually had to cut down on the gym because at 110kg [17st 4lb] I was getting a bit heavy,” says the 39-cap Scott. “Now I’ve come through the other side, I’m looking at it as me being fresh at a point in the season when most guys are knackered.”

Having had too much time on his hands perhaps explains the new bleach blond look"

Erm...

Did Bennet manage to get any real game time in the last few weeks? Is he out again?

Good looking side, after last weeks goings on a straight forward dicking of Leinster would do well with none of the drama.

Thought that was going to end up in a turnover. Good effort nel.
