Back on the American thing. Freedoms can fuck right the fuck off. They're violating my freedoms.

No. Just no. I don't care if at grammatically correct or not.

Suits. Never had one, never wore one, never want one. & as for the necktie, what in hell's that about - except to strangle yourself in the summer? But what I find really stupid is that people in tropical countries have adjusted to this style of formal clothing which was developed for the much colder climes of northern Europe. Why? Just to look important!

The fact that you have never owned a suit speaks volumes. How in the name of fuck can you trust someone with one of your major life decisions who isn't wearing a suit?

Dress-down Fridays? Fuck Off. Dressing down means jacket and tie, not flip-flops and nipple rings!

Cut away collars, Goodfellas' collars, button down collars with a suit, rounded-end collars - wankers.

Collars that are different colours from the rest of the shirt - spiv wankers

Wing collars with black tie!!!! The clearest sign of coming from a council estate ever known to man. Wing collars are only worn with white tie you chav/ned/spide feck!

People who call Black Tie a tuxedo - invariably these are the same wastes of spunk that wear the winged collar along with a pink elasticated bow tie. Just fuck right away off!!!

Some suits are better than others, however - and more suited to the sweaty climes:

I agree with you here; this idiot is a clown.

Not only is he wearing a button-down collar with a suit (An offence worthy of 10 years with hard labour) but he's unbuttoned the button-down which is a bit like trying to cover up paedophilia by dressing the victims as prostitutes.

The striped tie means feck all other than he probably bought it from an OXFAM shop and its previous mong of an owner got it as a gift from H&M. Sweat shops are a pitiful indictment on the clothing industry but that some Bangladeshi child is working 12 hours a day to knock these out in a building that will probably fall down and crush her before she is sold off into an arranged marriage is surely a crime. And a striped tie with a checked shirt is another mark of a man who was raised on free school lunches.

The suit is not a statement in this case, but merely evidence of the efforts of a failed fashion student - was there ever a more pointless being, save perhaps for the ex-Pat failed literature/journalism student eking out their lives on the fringes of civilised society? What is with the lapels, which extend beyond the first button and, as far as I can make out, just beyond the second? At least the cuff buttons actually work.

Placing the snot-rag in the pocket screams sex-pest or lesser-royal; perhaps both. A handkerchief is an essential tool. Everyone should have one, so why the feck would you advertise that you are carrying one by poking it out of your breast pocket. This is, in my view, akin to arriving at a drinks party with a condom hanging out of your fly.

The rucking of the stitching on the trouser is clearly a measure of the abysmal workmanship that has gone into this effrontery to suits; and while a modest cuff on the trouser is usually a mark of upper-middle class elegance, this exaggerated mess simply marks the wearer out as a twat of the very lowest water.

Surely on here I need not elaborate on the absence of the sock. Going sock-less is a tedious affection except when actually barefoot or venturing to wear a deck-shoe (And only then if actually on a deck). Those shoes are something that only the club-footed should wear and suggest that his mother is still taking him to Clarks on the high street. Plastic soles? Spastic soles more like!

Judging by the quality of the photograph, this ensemble probably cost something around the same as a small car.

The correct wearing of a suit does mark a man as important and for a very good reason; If he knows how to wear one and can afford to do so, he probably is.

I was actually going to laud that comment right up until I got to the last paragraph. Each to their own, but for me a suit represents devious, unscrupulous, roguish, fraudulent deceit and superficial, pretentetious, conformist, self-important promposity - and nothing more. In short it's an extention of the schoolboy uniform designed for obedience and orthodoxy. Probably it's more of a cultural thing...

I'd agree that this is a sartorial disaster but surely there is no crime worthy of two full terms of a Corbyn Labour govt.

Apparently some epileptics are offended (or told they should be) by the term 'brainstorm' so the word is banned in some areas..and replaced by 'thought-shower'.
Sounds as forgettable as 'winterval' did for Christmas celebrations.
