Excessive sound effects on TV.

Trivial TV news reports just because there happens to be a video.

Excessive replays of tragic or stupid events just because there happens to be a video.

Autocorrect and other useless auto-hindrances when I am trying to write or scroll online.

Pointless changes to my Yahoo email account every few months or so that require me to update then figure things out again.

New fangled art work on the BBC et al. Show a video on the news but blur out the left and right hand side. What's that all about?

I realised after that last post I had strayed slightly from the 'cringe' factor.

People who pull out in front of me and then stop without indicating. Then blow themselves up to make some religious/political point. Boils my piss every time.

Men wearing pedal pushers and shoes with no socks, just downright wrong on all levels.

Cunts looking at their phone while driving. In Canada, distracted driving has now officially surpassed drunk driving and speeding as the major cause of accidents. I ride a motorcycle, you cunts will kill me.

These fuckers should be banned from driving, I shout at them if I walk past them, they also misread a traffic light stop as a great opportunity to check their cockface profile for updates, motherfuckers.

I was peddling along a cycle path the other day and saw a kid of about 13 coming in the opposite direction while playing with his phone. As he approached looking at his phone he drifted across the path and crashed into me head on. Luckily I managed to brake a bit although neither of us were going very fast, and there was no damage done.

Riding on a country road with no center line today a car veered towards me before abruptly correcting as he glanced up from his phone. I was about 1 second from a head on with nowhere to go. This shit has to be sorted out, fines, loss of license, confiscate vehicles, whatever it takes. Should face similar penalties to drunk driving IMO.

Guy bought a dog into the restaurant where I was enjoying my lunch today. Dog had a docked tail

Heard male voices screaming ferociously outside earlier on, lasting the standard twenty minutes to half an hour. Nothing too unusual around here. Now the street is full of cops.

I was awoken this morning by some maniac revving hell out of his engine right outside my apartment as well - around 630am. I'd already been woken once by the daily pre-dawn Call to Prayer. At least the stray dogs weren't barking incessantly, for a change

Grotesque hefty women who insist on showing several inches of bare floppy belly . This is usually accompanied by black ankle length leggings in an attempt to show that their legs don't look like guinness bottles . YuK . Fking annoying and stomach churning . :(

Is that still a thing? I thought it was just one of those ridiculous trends that came out in the nineties and managed to fool everyone that it was cool and hip for a few years before disappearing from the landscape again as everyone woke up to just how silly and pointless it was :? Or maybe it was just because I moved abroad about then . . .

I don't think a fast paced impersonation of a duck with the turtle's head has ever been hip or cool.

I think Rowan just likes writing that, regardless of the subject.

they've never disappeared..maybe dropped to a steady-state, and buoyed by government 'short brisk walks keep you healthy' campaigns.
It's possible of course a large number relaxed a bit at the news of your depart and stayed in to watch the telly instead..:)

I remember them in Wellington and they all looked like idiots, marching about in traffic with the name of their gym emblazoned across their T-shirts. Talk about a blatant advertisement  What's wrong with going for a walk on your own in the nearest park - and you don't have to pay for it either!

Mixture of needing to be seen and safety fears prraps.Walking on treadmills or static cycling in busy sweaty gyms seem similar oddities to me.
