Glasgow have a good looking backline out vs Leinster and a very callow looking pack, including Seb Stephen on debut at hooker. Leinster have gone very strong.

Game doesn't technically matter much (3rd or 4th to play for for Glasgow), but feels quite big for Glasgow to arrest the recent slide.

The young hooker played well

Seb Stephen was excellent, not in any way out of place or in awe. Could easily start the QF even if Mathews and Hiddlestone are fit. Glasgow look well set at 2 with Hiddletone and Stephen plus Joe Roberts (still 18)
Others stepped up as well. Duncan, who I had not been sure about (still academy of course) put in a serious shift. Not the biggest back row but very physical. Fin Richardson had a cracking game in the loose and in truth held Porter who as ever got away with driving in and hinging - he has more angles than Alan McManus.
Ewen ferrie had a huge game
That very young pack gave Glasgow a chance. Snyman neutered, Barret turns out to be a right mouthy cheap shot merchant when he doesn't get it all his own way

Huge game for Glasgow tonight. Lose this and their season has been a bit of a damp squib. Win and it's all to play for. Got a few players back but Huw Jones out again. Big chance for Murphy Walker too.

That was great. Either Stormers can't defend of Glasgow's attack was back to its best.

All sorts of good performancss but Jordan and Tuipolotu were really influential.

Such a shame Sione missed the 6 nations. I truly think he was on for one of the great seasons. So much variety, and confidence.

Jordan is a funny 10. Commentators said he is Glasgow's top carrier this year. Not sure that is really what you want from a ten at international level but i games like this, amd when the rest of the team plays to it, it's great, and great to watch. Just challenging the line the whole time.

Murphy Walker struggled at scrum time and came off after 30 mins. Not that surprising and I wonder slightly if Hiddlestone has something to learn in the scrum too. Not the worst tactic though to start the guy who might struggle a bit, knowing you can always take him off. Not actually that many scrums early on.

big win. Match stats tell a strange story - Stormers easily dominate possession and territory, Glasgow have to make almost half as many again tackles as Stormers, pen count 16-4 against Glasgow (neither team have a great tackle success rate, but Stormers awful (made 106 tackles, missed 40!).
Stormers made so many unforced errors they never looked like winning. I say unforced, but the Glasgow defence was immense, very physical and put shed loads of pressure on Stormers

Sharks team were about 5 yards from scannell giving him shit for his kicks

Hendrikse scored his kick and then went down with cramp for about 4 minutes forcing crowley to wait

You'd have to be a Munster fan to think much of it

That seems pretty low. I watch a lot of games on catchup and it is so obvious with SA sides how they delay everything. In most games if I skip forward 30 seconds when the ball goes out, I miss the lineout, with SA sides there is almost always someone down or some faffing about with the ref.

Anyway, one other thing with the Glasgow game, the Steyn break before the Stormers yellow and Darge try was almost Ireland like in setting up a pod, running some deception and having a hidden player burst through at the last minute. What I can't tell is if we rarely try it or whether it only looks so beautiful when it comes off. It's the kind of thing that Scotland need to perfect to make up for their lack of carriers.

check it hasn't changed your card type after you enter its number etc - had that problem in the past.

Interesting 10, 12, 13 combo. Can see why they want Hastings' kicking game but want to still include Jordan. My only fear is it might reduce Sione's impact.

A bit of a worry about Jones' fitness, but hopefully they are just being cautious.

I think they have a chance, just not as good a chance as if they had two Fagersons, Dempsey, and Jones on board.

Yeah, there’s a fair few worried for the playoffs (and Lions) from a Glasgow perspective.

McDowall feels so crucial now it seems odd to see him dropped for anyone but Jones.

Hiddlestone is firmly ahead as number 1 hooker then?
