Hogg needs to be the permanent kicker to touch.

Berghan has been my MOTM. Hard shift up front and him and Rambo have done the fill 80.

Maul defence and wee Grieg got the job done but there's a fair bit of stepping up to be done in two weeks time.

Agree that Berghan more than justified his selection and thought that Gilchrist did really well too.

Step forward Gregor Townsend. Brilliant from him after last week, showed guts to take off his 1st choice fly half when that needed doing, putting Laidlaw on at 10 was an inspired decision. For all the praise for the guys on the pitch, for me Toonie is the real winner today.

Laidlaw deserved MotM. Good still bit a wee bit quicker mind but I'd stick him at ten next week hahaha

Agree with this, especially when a Price-Laidlaw-Horne axis must the smallest in international rugby since it went pro. Anyone think of anything comparable?

Whole side were great - bar Russell, who pretty much kept the French in it. Gutsy call by GT to sub him. Berghan and Laidlaw will shut up a few people...or at least, we'll see how much humble pie will be eaten.
Wilson and Denton showed what ball-carrying should be. CDP should NEVER play for Scotland again.

Great win! Russell was abismal yet again, he really needs to calm down. Well done Toonie for calling it and shifting Grieeeeeeg out.

fwck me, you are dramatic.

Of course he hasn't been training with everyone else because being banned from playing means that all he could do is spend the last two months sat on a park bench drinking Bucky and eating kebabs. He wasn't injured, he was banned so should be perfectly fine to play a game.
Sorry didn't mean to target you - just annoyed in general at his inclusion. I don't think he will be match sharp, match fit and I think he's crap in a number of respects. I truly hope I'm wrong!
Take solace in the fact that you often are.
How’s it going Greg?

Lots to work on. But better to do so after a win.

Delighted to get the win but fear we over reacted to last week. We'll not beat the very best with such predictable carries side to side waiting til they give away a penalty. Gutsy though as would have been easy to implode at a couple of points.

I think that was worse this week than last by Finn but wouldnt have taken him off. That is the first game i've ever seen him not looking confident and we need him if we are to have any chance in 2 weeks.

I’ve been wondering why he doesn’t for ages now. He’s got the best range on the team, and doesn’t seem to miss touch unless he’s trying to.

I think Russell should have been hooked earlier.
