How did we all survive before our High streets were littered with foreign owned coffee houses selling overpriced mind boggling choices of coffee .?

Having a large cup of Starbucks in one's mitt is a pretty obvious fashion statement. Why would anyone queue up for overpriced gunk when they can go to a local cafe and have properly brewed traditional coffee for half the price and receive table service into the bargain? & if they're so busy they have to take it on the go, how is it they spend the first ten minutes after arriving in the office either looking at their Facebook or checking their phone ??

For middle class Waitrose shoppers only.

You grab your free cup of coffee, and then do your shopping. Coffee plus basket/trolley, whilst holding list is a), not a good look, and b)frankly more than you can cope with.

On the same theme, Waitrose customers who whilst getting their free coffee, stand at the machine whilst adding sugar etc. Move to the side feckwits.

To make this easier so we don't get a load of multiple posts. Waitrose customers fullstop

To make this easier, so we don't get multiple posts, the coffee served up at Waitrose, Costa, Cafe Nero, Starbucks, McDonalds (Or any other fast food outlet), Little Chef, The Royal Victoria Hospital, any hotel chain that serves a buffet breakfast and Beltie Books and Cafe Wigtown is not worthy of the name.

Once one reaches a certain age, one has to regulate one's caffeine intake and, frankly, wasting units on the piss served up by these places is an utter waste. There are few towns that do not have at least one place where it is possible to get a cup of quality coffee brewed by someone who knows what they are doing (Rather than the button-pushing otherwise-unemployed engineering graduates that the chains like to call baristas). If you live in the wilderness, it is not difficult, these days, to get your hands on some quality, well-roasted Arabica beans, learn how to grind them and brew-up a cup of your own.

And feckers who proselytise on the so-called virtues of these new instant coffees can just

shut
the
fuck
right
up!

Don't get me started on the pretentious tossers who provide space in their lives (And attempt to lever it into mine) for those ludicrously expensive kettles that turn concentrate into a piss-poor imitation of espresso.

The hipsterisation of good coffee has started :( just like beer, they seem only capable of drinking things that taste like crap.

Coffee. Smells amazing tastes of bitterness and dissapointment. Whilst I'm at it tea tastes of bath water without the appetising smell.

Waitrose freebie coffee is far superior to most high street places.

Hindsight experts.

The first to laugh when you got something wrong, but the last to acknowledge it when you got something right - or else just dismiss it as having been obvious all along. You simply can't win with these clowns.

Talking supermarkets , is it just me or do people of any age , who push their trollies around practically bent over, lying across the push bar annoy you ?

If its just me I shall stop shouting at these slobs , telling them not too slouch and smarten up . Some people get really offended .

Do not get me started on them. Apart from being bad for their back they also cannot steer the damn things & end up running into other
customers or the fixtures

Families are worse. Fat mother, fat father, two fat kids, blocking up every aisle along with their arteries judging by the looks of them. No stereotyping involved of course.

Dithering in supermarkets (or on the roads, pavements etc etc.)
