Not every aisle, to be fair. You never see them in the salad aisle, or the healthy eating section. I suspect that if you put a stick of celery at either end of each aisle, the fat feckers would stay away altogether.welshsaint wrote:Families are worse. Fat mother, fat father, two fat kids, blocking up every aisle along with their arteries judging by the looks of them. No stereotyping involved of course.

My pet hate is people who think that their 6 minutes on Google trumps my 6 years at university!

People who cant use roundabouts, or cant signal or signal correctly on roundabouts.
Like the f88king roaster who nearly took the side of my car out at Tesco earlier despite my perfect positioning and indicating.

One of the great English literary debates of modern times has centred on the translation of 'Pæt,' the opening word of the Saxon poem Beowulf.fivepointer wrote:People being interviewed who start an answer with "so"
Seamus Heaney translated it as, 'So.'

Mate every morning on my way to work people drive about 3 feet onto my side of the fucking road, they have absolutely no idea how wide their cars are, they also persist at driving at 20 in a 30 zone the halfwits.AL. wrote:People who cant use roundabouts, or cant signal or signal correctly on roundabouts.

Unfortunately it seems that only about 5% of people can actually drive properly, on their phones, doing make-up, blocking turnings and not indicating are my biggest peeves.
I shout a lot when I am in the car.

Re: The Cringe/Hate Thread
Yup, so many either don't indicate at all, or only as their hand passes the still iPad they're in the middle of turning. As someone who rarely drives, it's really noticeable that the quality of driving has gotten so much worse over he last decade or so (and probably longer, but it's less noticeable when you're driving every day).
As for indicating, the clue's in the name - the purpose is to indicate your intentions to other road users so that they can adapt to what you're doing; not to tell the car behind you what you're already in the process of doing so that they can brake.

Jesus that indicating one gets me too. The fact you can't see anyone behind you, say... a motorbike in your blind-spot, is even more reason to indicate.

How am I supposed to indicate if I'm texting with one hand and have got a coffee (Waitrose freebie) in the other?

Re: The Cringe/Hate Thread
Ive said it before but here goes again......Lorry drivers (not lorries, lorries are a necessity) useless, selfish set of cu*ts. I include the people on my local school run on that list as well, because of whom I am shortly having to buy a ton or so of gravel to fix our shared (private) driveway as they use it as a roundabout.
Actually while I am at it, you can add the twat that shut the local school entrance during the school run on the grounds of health and safety causing carnage down the nearest village roads and the school palming off their duty of care to presumably to the locals who will have to live with the deaths that are imminent as they pack down the roads with no consideration for the locals or other road users/children.
Grrrr...

Is there a more cringeworthy, vapid, talentless, deceptive, dishonest, feeble and parasitic affront to natural selection than this abomination?

I actually find lorry drivers are more considerate than the general population when we're on blue lightsAL. wrote:Ive said it before but here goes again......Lorry drivers (not lorries, lorries are a necessity) useless, selfish set of cu*ts.
