I'm delighted Horne is doing well and we're in the game but we're just going side to side without earning the right to go wide. Men are getting isolated way too easily.

Yep. The real Dunbar would have been great to straighten things and break the line but he's not been there.

Gods you're dour miserable buggers. Personally I'm feeling far more like wee Greig.

As Moore just said, "there's been no luck in this"

It's fucking great. There's no denying we did a lot of meaningless side to side stuff. I wouldn't swap that for this win.

Superb. Our tight 5 is gold dust right now.

France played some really good stuff at times.

Two on the trot!!! I didn't enjoy watching it though. Just kept thinking we'd Scotland it at some point. And I'm massively hungover with a serious case of the fear

Btw...I'm going to the game....
Are you sure you want to do that? What can we say to convince you otherwise? I'm sure we can find a nice sofa to hide behind with a ready supply of beer (any volunteers in Edinburgh for the greater good)?
It has to happen sometime, right?

We're going to batter them.
Never in doubt.

Get in.

3ges on the trot we score in the past 15 of the game

And if Russell had passed it would be something rediculous like 8 in a row

Whoo..That seemed a very long eighty minutes..
Recall that pre tournament, Taylor didn`t even make it into most of the "big squad" predictions posted here..
Expensive French wine tonight, I think..

Was about to ask if you left after the first French try, or have you finally managed to lift the hoodoo you put on Scotish rugby for the last decade or so?

hugh_woatmeigh wrote:Yup. Peter Horne at 10 for 75 minutes against the French. You just have to laugh... Vern's refusal to pick a proper bench was going to hurt us eventually.
Seemed to work alright the day...

All the best,

Not perfect but it was a joy to see how so much was good about that game. Gritty defence, rock solid scrum and a team that knows how to score tries, and that alone puts it phecking light years in front all Scottish teams this century.

Me being there counterbalanced his hoodoo.

These queues for the trains are brutal.

Good man, someone had to step up at some point and try and stop Arms sustained campaign of torpedoing Scotland at home.

Also, I've now got an unbeaten Scotland shirt, and flip flops. Took a big risk wearing them today, thank you all in advance for your acknowledgement of my bravery.

Be honest

You set fire to all your other shoes in some random accident involving some bleach, bogies and a monopoly set

Fair play on your Scotland to though

I had genuinely forgotten how it feels to beat anyone other than Italy. Fantastic. Things to improve as always but the team is most definitely getting better.

And well done Pete Horne, an excellent performance under the circumstances, as one of the commentators said, his introduction was seamless.

Tough final game as Ireland looked good against a shite Italy but we have a reasonable chance of getting three wins, which would be a big step forward.

They have more belief about them now, so are staying a bit more composed in the last quarter. Great to see a team with potential really coming together. Fantastic stuff. Loves you Vern.

All you need now is a zippy scrum half. But wee Laidlaw is probably too good a goal kicker to drop.

Fabulous team effort. The main thing that Cotter has done with this side is instilled both belief and patience.

All heroes today. Best we have seen of Richie for many a long day. Better to come, I hope!
