That was an all blacks style reset into an attacking formation. Chapeux Ireland!

Scotland, England and France up next. We'll be going into the final week trying to avoid a whitewash

We haven’t even looked like scoring. Our Rick speed is too slow and it all looks ponderous.

I can only hope that a few games play some of our players into some sort of form because this is pathetic

I get the feeling we'll be on the coaching hunt either during or shortly after this championship, Pivac simply isn't working

Agreed. We are missing a lot of player but this is just clueless.

Scrum remains crap.
Lineout is a lottery
Breakdown too slow
Defence too passive
Attack ponderous

I can’t see any positives out of this. None.

Thing is I can’t think of too many positional changes for next week. Adams back to the wing for sure. I’m not sure about Ellis Jenkins either.

But beyond that who else is there pushing to get on this team? Maybe Holmes?

But the problem here seems more about the organisation than anything else.

Adams wing, Moriarty to six, is LRZ fit?, has Biggar had his day? The centres are a real problem. I worry about our (match?) fitness.

It’s not all desperation and the only way can be up.

Train hard and regroup for Scotland but it doesn’t look good for us this year.

Really? I'd've thought Adams should be dropped for such a fuckwitted card.

A few backs perhaps, but that's shuffling deckchairs TBH. Jac Morgan?

It's been a long, lomg time since McNichol has done anything in a Wales shirt, isn't it? Don't see why Holmes, Lane or even Protheroe couldn't be tried. But again, all academic if we don't have a plan. Today's XV looked like they'd never met.

Not many positives to take from that. Reality is that there are only so many top players you can do without at the same time. After some point, the average quality is too low to really compete. Hope some development comes from this.

I really don't envy the coaches at this moment.

Whilst tempting to make some changes to the back line, I don’t see it making a huge difference unless we can win quick ball and actually have a game plan

Start Moriarty.
Start any forward who looks like they can get across the gain line (without jeopardising the set piece, so no Carre). But who??

Start Anscombe.
Adams fucked up (although arguably the yellow was harsh), but that aside was he really bad?
The backs aren't the problem (and anyway, aside from a fit Halaholo, who - in the squad - would we bring in? Cuthbert?)

I thought peyer gave you less than fuck all yesterday. Totally uninterested in the breakdown which basically means Ireland keep the ball until they kick it.

The front five had a hard afternoon, but I genuinely don’t know who else we would pick to rectify that. Our subs seemed to make an impact when they came on although subs often do and that doesn’t mean that they should start. Lake made a few dents and we need to find a way to make better use of his ball carrying than we did.

Our back row wasn’t right. We need a different blindside someone who can be more abrasive. At the moment that has to be Moriarty. Wainwright and Basham were two of our better players but Jenkins went missing.

But as a team everything looked wrong yesterday. Rucks too slow. Tackling passive. Passing ponderous. Set piece iffy. There’s a lot do work to do here. Scotland will be favourites for next weekend.

It’s becoming apparent that the Sean Edwards affect helped carry us through the Gatland era where Wales performed far and above what people expected.

Pivac wanted his own defence coach when he could have had Edwards for four years with a little effort and blessing from the WRU. Bad mistake.

That’s one reason (just one of many) that we have lost our edge and aggression. Look what Edwards has done for France.

Monday’s inquest at the Vale is going to be a very sobering affair.
