The first yellow wasn’t even a penalty. It was a perfectly good turnover. Cowan Dickie’s no arm tackle was clearly not a no arm tackle. I mean the TMO watched it and still got it wrong. Pepper pinged for a perfectly good turnover. Steward’s knees down but that’s a maul.

I don’t mind the last one so much. It’s often a yellow, but wha preceded it had been awful.

We’re missing way too many tackle and box kicking WAY too much, but fuck me we’re playing against 17 men at the moment. It’s not biased it is just incompetent!

Easy to blame the ref. Too many players not rising to the occasion.

Amashukeli is having a really poor day at the office.
He's far from alone in that.

We seemed completely ill prepared for what came our way and have looked all at sea at times. Seriously underwhelming effort so far.

Based on the first yellow card period, surely Earl has to play at 12 with Dingwall and Freeman moving out. We could not defend wide as it was tried earlier.

The TMO has been just as bad!

The tone was set right at the start. Maul then 20 metres and the first though is box kick!

Then the most ridiculous yellow card on the history of rugby.


But we are missing way too many first up tackles; and it’s mostly forwards being shit in defence. Including our best tacklers like Underhill. Scotland have capitalised really well.

The second half is going to be a stern test for the coaching team and the on-field leadership team. No sign of any leadership in the first half.

With the terrible officiating, our tackling has been appalling. Missed tackles had cost us this

In fairness, that looked like a knock on. It's one of those days. Disappointed he is less quick with a card at the scrum....

Still think England should win - so much stronger up front.
