In both instances no one got it right.
annoyingly simple quiz questions that become simply annoying when you don't get them right...

Excuse the boast but I met Brad when I went on The Chase. He's exactly the same as he appears to be and so funny. Most of his jokes were cut though.

Stupid selfish arseholes

Water main burst overnight, leaving a pretty large area around here without water. Shops all sold out of water within 30 minutes of opening; I saw 1 car with the boot overflowing with bottled water, and taking his 2 trolleys back in for more.
Chances are the water will be back on within a 1-2 days; if not cisterns will appear on the streets. In the mean time because of selfish arseholes, many people with be without water for that day or two; and the vast majority of that overpriced bottled crap will be tipped down the sink within a week.

I really, really hope that the water is back on by lunch, just to piss off those who've spent £100+ on hoarding.

Motorscooters! They disobey all the rules, come flying down one-way streets the wrong way just when you think it's safe to cross, take over the pavements when there's a traffic jam and make a hell of a racket at nights :x Invariably driven by pimply youths in the service of fast food delivery companies, without helmets and at break-neck speeds. The only consolation is knowing that if they hit you and fracture a few bones, they'll come off just as badly themselves. Not much of a consolation, however... :?
If they're good enough to play at World Cups, why not in between?

Apples when you can't get the stickers off. Sometimes I have to scrape those suckers off with a knife :x Who in hell puts stickers on the actual food itself? Do they put stickers on your steak, or your ice-cream? Of course not. Simply outrageous ...

Seems like half the time I go to cross a road, checking to my left, a scooter comes flying in from the right and just about bowls me over. This, of course, is a lot worse down south, where scooters appear the primary mode of transportation - at least in the summers.
motor-scooter riders can be annoying..

Fat free, sugar free... MSG free is ok though.
It is usually futile to try to talk facts and analysis to people who are enjoying a sense of moral superiority in their ignorance.

People phoning 999 for a cut finger.

Call takers for triaging the call as yellow (an emergency with a 16 min response time).

Despatchers for sending an ambulance.

I once dialled 999 in London because my brother left the apartment and locked me in. I didn't have a mobile and the landline didn't dial out - except to emergency services. So I called them and they gave me a bit of stick for it - but contacted my brother anyway. They must have thought we were the Kiwi version of Dumb and Dumber or something
