Not entirely sure of your point, I’m struggling with the local dialect , but you seem to be saying that the Eng team for last Saturday were a poor imitation of their normal selves and that there are lots of better teams based on that England performance. If so, then fair enough. Our first half display was fecking appalling and our second half barely acceptable.

Agree. I think part of it is that it is undeniably getting more popular for a number of reasons, so will attract people that have never played the game. I can’t imagine that these people are particularly schooled in the ethos of the sport at grass roots level.

Whilst as fans we like to think that rugby will influence wider society if it catches on, reality is that that might happen to some degree, but the vast swathes of people who will get into it (through marketing or whatever) have no interest in its values. Bawbags will be bawbags, so we need to call it out when it happens and make sure it doesn’t turn into football with segregated fans and all that carry-on.

My guess when these arseholes are hunted down is that they live in the north west somewhere and have social media accounts where you won’t have to look far to see the phrase “we arra peepul”.

Im not sure why we think they are rugby fans, Eddie Jones is pretty recognisable, Scotland beating England was widly reported and some scottish bams decided to act like arseholes to the opposition coach

Im not sure any of them will ever of been near a game of rugby as even the most one eyed weegie wouldnt behave like that
