great game so far, Blues 10 17 up nearing HT

some good attacking play

blues seem much more willing to offload and keep the ball in play, they are getting their just reward as Munster are still struggling to master the quick line defence

13-17 now but hugely enjoyable game to watch.

Well that was a good advert for the pro 12 to be fair.

Happy with that. Only one team interested in playing rugby and they won (and could have won by more). Brilliant contribution from Morgan, first touch leads to a score for the great fish.

Tonight's win for the Ospreys was none too shabby either. BZp win away against the league champions ain't bad.

The less said about the Newport win the better.

A good win but I thought the Ospreys made a meal of it until the last few minutes. They lost their composure early in the second half and looked as if they could throw the game away. Eli Walker looked sharp. Hassler was very keen but this resulted in him flying out of position exposing his colleagues. Some very good handling in the three quarters but a lot more was mediocre (tho' light years better than Scarlets yesterday).

I missed the Scarlets game. What was the problem, poor play by then or were Edinburgh just significantly better. On paper the Scarlets back line looks pretty tidy, but only if their pack fronts up, which is a traditional concern.

I agree the team looked good on paper, sadly they were poor on grass. The pack was outclassed a bit but I thought the real problem was in the backs. To say the passing and tactical thinking was wooden would insult trees. But even that was not the whole story. The worst feature was the inability to actually execute moves competently. Loads of head high passes and passes to no-one. There was no real sense of threat when they moved the ball. They looked like a team that had not been training. A bit of a surprise given the talented players they had on the pitch.

Edinburgh were good without being great, they well deserved the win. I don't follow the Scarlets, I just thought it would be an entertaining game with a Welsh side winning but I had little sympathy with Scarlets by the end. I've seen this sort of thing before, in a couple of games time they might look a different team. I don't understand why our regions look under prepared compared to other sides.

Great to see that Blues have finally begun to pull themselves out of the slump. Great result.

Great result for the (top of the table ) Ospreys too, even if it mostly came together in the last quarter. Lots of good performances.

I'm sure the Scarlets will pull themselves together. There's too much quality in that squad (even if they didn't play like it).

Good luck to the Dragons but without Faletau I doubt they'll get too many victories against non-Italian opposition.

The fact the Scarlets are without two International first choice Props may have a bearing on their performance so far this season.
