Smith definitely was busted sending dick pics to not his girlfriend.

If this was any amateur club tour he would have got a round of applause and probably a new nickname, like "Dunny" or "Cripple." It seems that the incident was consensual and had it been kept private would have been a matter between Dunny, the lady in question and Dunny's GF (assuming he's got one).

The most disappointing thing for me is that the world's best halfback apparently isn't even smart enough to organise a discrete airport union without telegraphing the whole thing to the general public. Surely with appropriate use of mobile phone technology this could have been managed better? Also, it seems that the scuzzy wee chap didn't even have the courtesy to guest her into the Koru lounge to use the higher quality facilities rather than the general public ones.

Indeed, if they are not narking or gossiping, what exactly are they doing? I almost feel sorry for Aaron on this one, mind you, if he'd been a bit less "run and gun" and a bit more "stealth mode" he might have avoided anyone finding out in the first place.

Isn't it a bit weird that if the "not narks" knew what was going on, why the hell did they make an audio recording on their phone AND hang about outside the cubicle with their young son until Smith came out? Did they want an autograph or something?

Or is there just the one cubicle at Chch airport?

I will be mightily fucked off if this Victorian-style prudery about a consensual act between two grown-ass adults derails either Smith's position as the world's best halfback or the All Blacks winning streak.

Weird story. I don't think it really means anything for his rugby future. It was dumb, but he is a class above anyone else in the world. I'm just torn over having had his infidelity outed in the media. Shit for his girlfriend is all I can say.

Really not a disciplinary matter, I guess it seems pretty sensible that Smith wanted to go home and sort it out.

It's not really news, other than to his (ex?) missus. But the senior rugby players have seemingly made a call, or at least allowed a call to be assigned to them and he'll miss a game, move on, next.

It's an opportunistic beat-up if there ever was one, after the NZRU and associated bodies fucked up the Chiefs scandal spectacularly. Tiresome bullshit, really.
