RL forum

Post by WaspInWales »

I know it wasn't as popular as the union boards on the old site, but would there be any interest in a rugby league section?

Aye. I was watching the Wigan Vs Brisbane match and thought it deserved a mention.

There was me thinking that Wigan would be capable of putting some pride back into the Super League after Saints were reamed on Friday night but they somehow managed to look worse.

The ease at which the Broncos scored tries was like watching a relaxed training session.

There was a period in the second half when it looked like Wigan may threaten a come back but they made a mess of an attacking situation. Brisbane then broke and although Wigan managed to get everyone back to defend, the conceded another try seconds later.

Woeful stuff but let's hope Bennett can work that magic with England.

I've been to a few KR games years ago and I've been making an effort to watch a bit more of it recently, though I do miss the dark arts of the breakdown.

Hopefully Rhinos can win back a bit of pride for the Super League later on.

Rhinos making a better fist of it so far but have just conceded a try in the opening 2 minutes of the second half. 4-10 to the Cowboys.

It's about time we had a new requests forum seeing as this is now the RL hangout.

And another try. Ryan Hall just swatted away.

It's all NQL in the second half.

Bit more zip about the Rhinos now. Making ground but no clearcut chances. Comfortable for NQL. At the end of the every set, Rhinos are pinned all the way back with a high kick. It's almost as if there's just too much ground for them to make up with each set.

If this was Man United, you'd be hearing a lot of booing now.

Poor defence.

Too easy for them. Lovely kick tbf, caught Leeds napping and a couple of passes later, they're over again.

It's another man-shaming.

The time difference meant that I had to record the Rhinos game but I won't bother watching the fecker now. It's not been good viewing so far this evening having watched SA v England in the deciding 20-20 and witnessing Leeds United lose to Elton John. The sporting god's an arse wipe...

Edit: WiW, too right it's a Jimmy sponge.
