Ex Leinster player and current Leicester Tiger retires at age 28 with concussion problems. About 5-6 years ago he looked as though he might be a possible Irish backrow starter (he got one cap) but did not quite kick on and was overtaken by a slew of very good flankers. Good luck to him.

Real shame. I always thought he was a fantastic player. Wanted him at Ulster or London Irish once he fell out of favour at Leinster.

Wow, good luck to him; that's always got to be a tough decision; but you've got to say that it's the right one.
