Some of these players are fit to play. Some are not!

There is a good 23 in there, but I think any key injuries and you could be scraping the barrel a little bit

I'm glad to see Thomas Young in the squad, he has quite a lot to offer, I'd like to see Jarrod Evans given a go against Italy.

Spends on the position. Scrum half really worries me. Centre too, although there are 4 credible options there even if some of them have been a little under par recently.
Real shame there’s no Faletau.

As an English-person, I don't think I can accept you worrying about your Scrum Halves.

Agreed, even with the senseless exclusion of Webb we're still pretty strong at 9.
Back row... I can't remember if Olly Griffiths is injured. Can't understand why he's not included otherwise.
Would like to see Patchell pushing through to first choice, but with the timing of his injuries this year, he will struggle.
The centres are frustrating. All four are potentially excellent but neither of the Scarlets are playing too well this season. Scott should start on current form but I can see Gatland sticking with the Scarlets.
Back three should be North, Amos and Liam Williams. I hope Amos is higher in the pecking order than Evans or Adams. IMO on current form Luke Morgan should be in the squad instead of Steff.

I think Ollie Griffiths is still injured, I haven't seen him play for a while, I think Jon Davies will be better with a proper 10 in place, he's played pretty well this season up until when Parkes was put in at 10 as a stop gap. I personally would have had Evans in the selection to the detriment of Jonah Holmes, purely because of his link play off first receiver with Gareth Davies who will most likely start the majority of games, they have a good understanding and create a lot for the Scarlets when they play together.

I think Ollie is on his way back - he was on the bench for the Dragons' last match. Unless he got injured again of course!
Re Adams and Holmes, I don't know what their current form is, so it's difficult to judge where they should fit in.
Of course Dan Evans should be in there etc etc etc etc

I’ll agree to differ. Davies doesn’t fill me with huge confidence at scrum half. The basics of his game aren’t there and he is a big step down from Webb.

Perhaps a little harsh, he doesn't scan as well as Webb or kick as well as Webb, he does however offer a lot in attack and has oodles of pace, I personally would have had Lloyd Williams over Aled Davies as I think he has a very good rugby brain, Tomos Williams may overtake Davies in the future.
I have an inkling that Webb may be involved come the World Cup but maybe that's false optimism.

I read something about Webb being available for the RWC a while ago. I think it’s probably the WM looking for stories to fill space. They seem to have a Webb story once a fortnight.
