That was shyte. Well done England, deserved winners. But we looked uninterested for the first half, and only started to click on the last 20. This campaign should be a treated as a kick in the arse for us.

I have an audio recording of North saying to Roberts: "Let them do their best for seventy minutes, then see if we can beat them in the last ten. Just for a laugh."
It was caught on the ref's mike during the anthems.
Roberts replied, "You're a bastard when you're drunk, George. Pass the gin."
