Ben Carter is also on the bench.

Edinburgh are pretty good atm, so I wouldn't beat yourself up too much. This will be much more of a test of where you are. Munster are solid, unimaginative, and regard the laws as optional. They're not the Munster of old, but they're pretty tough to beat and good travellers. A win against them will be a step forward.

Totally agree that Edinburgh are a good side. For me it was the manner of the defeat where we looked to fall apart and lose all cohesion, especially in defence that was most concerning. Some of the Edinburgh tries were just too easy.

That's what good teams do. How often have we played the All Blacks and been in the game up until they step on the gas?

Plenty of good players individually but I don't expect this will be a pleasant experience for them.

I don’t expect it to do much for my blood pressure either!

What just happened ? It was 15-3 to the Dragons about 3 minutes to half time. Are the regions contractually obliged to concede 7 points on the cusp of half time ?? Aargh.

Good first 36 minutes from the Dragons I suppose

Wow.

Even managed to survive the scripted pre-break collapse.

Angus O'Brien is gradualy cementing his place on thousands of "most underrated player" lists.

Rescued a horrible weekend, did that. Brilliant.

I was hoping to watch the game on catch up and avoid the result as I’ve been travelling this afternoon. But had to check and what a result! Very happy with that.

Rio Dyer looks a proper handful.

Dyer has an eye for the gap and plenty of pace. Hopefully he can stay injury free.

Really hope this brings some confidence. Also reports of Steff Hughes possibly signing which would bring a lot of composure to our team which I think is missing.

Delighted to be completely wrong.

This puts Cardiff's win against Munster into perspective. The Irish side are increasingly looking like the whipping boys of the tournament. They're still difficult to beat, but clearly struggling.

Leinster and Ulster and still tidy sides but Munster are a long way from their all conquering days in Europe. But the Dragons have played these sort of games before and lost so really happy that we had enough composure to win that one. Not sure at the moment how much of this is down to Munster being really bad vs both Dragons and Cardiff playing very good Scottish sides away, but a win is a win.

Sio Tomkinson looks like a very good addition.

He does. Quite like Hanrahan as well, but our front 5 still feels a little underwhelming, aside from Rowlands and Dee.

I found it odd that the commentators didn't make and mention of the wind yesterday as it was quite significant, Dragons were into the wind the second half and that was why Hanrahan missed a couple of kicks, you would have thought Munster would have made more use of it for field position as it is a big advantage, all the more impresive for the Dragons to hold them to no score in the second half.
