What do you do with 4 scrumhalves exactly or is this some exercise to see if Faf can cover 10/15?

Unlocking further 7:1 possibilities?

It’s a ploy by Rassie to make everyone think he is even more nuts and to therefore underestimate SA in the play-offs

It’s a ploy to beat the referee into submission by having four loudmouthed, chippy, short-arsed wee fuckers in his ear throughout the game.

Clearly he doesn't think waving led lights around is nuts enough.

Romania could conceivably have 200 points scored against them in 2 games

Van Staden now packing down at hooker, with Fourie into the back row. Wild. Not to mention De Klerk at 10 and Williams on the wing.

And now South Africa score a first phase try involving just scrum-halves - Hendrikse pass to De Klerk, De Klerk to Williams for the score.
Romania are dire - just waving South Africa through from some really basic attacking moves. There's a basic switch move and the Romanian defence is utterly torn apart. They really need to have a good look at themselves after this tournament - it is a tough draw for them, but they're comfortably the worst team here.

Just looked at the statistics - the last century score in a RWC was in 2007 (NZ vs Portugal - the only one of that tournament). I think Romania are probably safe from that, given there's only 9 minutes left, but that probably has more to do with South Africa's errors than anything done by Romania.

Van Staden's not looked uncomfortable in his first appearance at hooker since school, but I don't really know how much is actually being learned from this. Not really giving a clue as to whether he'd survive if called upon vs someone like Ireland.

Bloody hell, over 2000 metres made by the Boks.

Despite not scoring as many, that was a much more convincing display than Ireland's. South Africa are the team to beat at the moment.

Ireland vs Bokke next weekend is going to be huge.I’d have South Africa as favourite as I think they are peaking at just the right time, but theres 2 quality sides going head to head there.

Is there any point watching the highlights of this?
Poor old Romania. Haven’t been the same since the revolution.
European qualifying will be interesting next time. It looks like Georgia will not get in automatically. And there’s an outside chance Italy could screw the pooch v Uruguay.
