Indeed :) . But seriously, my point is that if team A has 20 more ranking points than team B, but only beats B by 1 point, that suggests they should be closer in ranking. So A should lose some points to B to make them closer. It's not punishment - it's getting the ranking points to reflect reality a bit better. NB the system already does this for draws (ie transfers points from the higher ranked team to the lower) - I'm saying let's try to do this for all results.
